Life is Wonderful

Life is Wonderful

by Sandra Parker

At last I’ve cause to celebrate

I’ve made it up till now

Through toddlerhood and schooldays

Sometimes I don’t know how.

My teenage years so long ago

Were passed by rather anxiously

with rock ‘n roll and Elvis

Followed by career and family.

The family grew, so did my waist

I moved about a bit

The Territory seemed a good idea

so I had a go at it.

But now I find with passing years

I’m suffering from sometimers

Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don’t

I hope it’s not yet alzheimers

So I plod through life until right now

I’m in my wonder years

I wonder where I parked my car

And I wonder what day it is!
