Grandparents Day Competition 2023
Grandparents Day is marked across Australia on the last Sunday of October and aims to celebrate the role grandparents and older people play in our society. The Story Telling 2023 competition asked Territorians of all ages to share their grandie stories, poems, words of advice and letters with us.
Winning Stories
The winners were:
- Primary School Age Category – Maurice Petterson (read his winning story, My Nanny)
- Middle / High School Category – Kaleb Collins (read his winning story, My Nana about his Nana, Lynette Bonson)
- Open Age Category – Jody Kopp (read her winning story, Nana Fred and Pop Kev’s Farm)
